Since the earliest days of Youth With A Mission, YWAM, God has expressed His heart for the unreached people by calling YWAM workers to the Frontiers. From the beginning, we have been committed to training people world wide and placing them in the people groups of which they have been called. We believe that The Great Commission is not just an opportunity but a mandate. Like the early Christians of the first century church forward through successive generations of people passionate about God, we are mandated to preach His message and His purposes with all people. And yes, He is using ordinary people like me and you for extraordinary purposes. And He is doing this in such a time as this! So join the movement and see the unreached communities become disciples of Christ!

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN?

During a 12 weeks lecture phase, you will get a chance to learn from teachers with vast experiences in missions, explore how to partner with the international body of Christ, conduct research and pray for an unreached people group, as well as worship, witness and fellowship with other members of the community. We will also have the opportunity to travel for a week to an unreached nation and engage in culture and language learning while spending time with the local people as well as with missionaries serving in that nation.

WHERE YOU WILL GO?

After completing the SOFM, you have the opportunity to join the second module, Internship, which is highly recommended to anyone who intends to engage in cross-cultural missions. For this phase, we will process together and help you connect with an existing team in the location you are planning to go. If no team exists, then you will consult with the school leader/staff about the best option. The goal of the internship is to create the right platform and help you become an effective cross-cultural missionary by intentionally engaging you in language learning, cultural adjustment, evangelism, church planting, prayer, worship and team life right in the mission field God has called you.
