Homes of Hope is a ministry of Youth With A Mission that began in 1992 when a DTS team from YWAM Tyler, Texas, traveled to Mexico to build homes in the Tijuana region.
Homes of Hope in Romania
2017
The first Homes of Hope house in Romania was built in 2017 in Cluj County through a collaboration between YWAM Cluj and the Cluj Food Bank. Since then, the ministry has continued to grow.
2023
In Mediaș, the vision of building homes for vulnerable families began through the Homes of Hope Cluj ministry. The first house was completed in 2023 in Seleuș, Sibiu County.
2024
In 2024, three homes were built in Ighiș, and through collaboration and practical involvement, we were able to bring hope and stability to these families.
2025
In 2025, we continue to invest in families in Ighiș, Sibiu County. By the end of the year, we hope to complete three more homes for families in the same community.
TRANSFORMED COMMUNITIES
Through collaboration, unity, and compassion, this project creates opportunities for transformation for vulnerable families who often live in difficult and unsafe conditions. Every home built becomes a tangible expression of hope and a long-term investment in a better future.
We want to continue being actively involved because every family deserves dignity, safety, and a place they can truly call home.
